Introduction

          Hey! My name is Lauren Hazard, and I'm 21 years old. Growing up, my dad was a professional painter for many years, and also worked as a handyman. Throughout my youth, my dad taught me a lot of what he knew about painting and woodworking and how to do certain things around a house.
       
           All of this proved very useful when I got married, and my husband David and I started repainting and revamping our home. My husband is also very handy, and builds us custom furniture pieces for our house, such as a new headboard, and a new coffee cart. I've also repainted many rooms in our house, with David's help.
          Making our house over gave me the idea to start a DIY home renovation blog. I knew that so many people could use all the tips and tricks I've learned to make a house look great, and to not have to spend all that money to hire painters and home workers to do work that you can do yourself- if you just knew how!
          On this blog, I plan to share tips I've learned about everything from Painting, to Wood-Working, to Interior Design.
